Altar Servers
The Altar Servers of the Holy Family Parish assist the priests and deacons at the liturgical celebrations of the Parish. Altar Servers can be any boy or girl in the 5th grade or above who is interested in assisting at Sunday Mass and other special liturgies throughout the year. Servers attend several training sessions prior to beginning their service and are assigned to Mass as observers until they are familiar and comfortable enough to be primary servers. A detailed handbook is provided to all servers to be used as a reference guide. Servers are scheduled approximately every two weeks and efforts are made to meet scheduling needs. there are no out of pocket expenses associated with serving in this ministry.
